Hello! I’m Geoff Pascual, a full-time watercolor painter based in Downtown Santa Ana, California. My goal as an artist is to bridge iconic and nostalgic anime with fine art craftsmanship using traditional media. Although many of my paintings feature familiar subjects, I challenge myself to represent them in thoughtful, refreshing ways through clever concepts and a distinctive style. In addition to finding my work online, I also travel to some of the top anime, comic, and gaming conventions across the USA.
Like many of my art collectors, I grew up glued to the TV, entranced by Toonami anime. My sketchbooks from elementary school to college were filled with drawings of Naruto, SpongeBob, Pokemon, Samurai Champloo, and everything in between. Fast forward to today, the same pop culture has matured and ingrained itself into the arts and entertainment industry which kid Geoff could only dream of being a part of. My work is a lifelong journey of invention and refinement, hopping from one muse to the next. Thank you for following along!
