Shinigami
Watercolor on Canvas, 36x48”, 2020.
Art contains hypocrisies and as an artist you have to accept all of them, dancing a fine line between them. This piece is about myself and ego. It's about releasing my tight grip of expectations - how I see myself, how others see me, and the need to let it all go. It's a death of feeling like you have to hold onto an image or fit into a certain framework. It's about breaking down walls, sacrifice and surrender.
