Framing Recommendations

You’ve got the artwork, now it’s time to display it for all to enjoy! As artists, we’re far too familiar with the cycle of buying artwork and taking months even years to get it framed. We want to make it a habit to frame all the artwork we collect as soon as we make a purchase because if it doesn’t get framed now we’ll never get it done. Our art prints are sized to fit in standard frames that may be conveniently found in stores such as Target, Michaels, Hobby Lobby and Amazon. When shopping around for frames we suggest materials such as Wood (solid preferred or MDF is fine) or Metal. Plastic frames are very flimsy and will have a less desirable finished look, therefore we suggest you stay away from those.

24x36” Frames

Our limited edition giclée prints are printed on a beautifully textured watercolor paper, hand embossed, and embellished with 18k gold ink. For these special prints many collectors opt to get a custom frame unique to their likings. Although this would be an ideal choice, there are plenty of great framing options for any budget. We found that a gold frame works perfectly in making the gold embellishments of these limited edition pop. We also suggest a wooden frame as seen with Battlecry because it ties in the reddish brown elements of the painting . These are both thin frames, which make for a more modern look that is versatile for any home.

18x24” Frames

We found alot of great options for 18x24” frames. Again a common theme are simplistic designs that allow versatility to match any home. There are plenty of black frames, that we found in this size, available in a majority of stores. If you have multiple “Introductions” pieces, the thin black frames really go hand in hand with the bold line work seen in the series.

24x24” & 12x12” Frames for Masked World

Out of all the sizes we offer, you might have a harder time finding a 24x24” frame or a 12x12” frame. Thankfully Amazon had really solid choices to choose from at a good price. Etsy also had a great option, especially for the 24x24” frames which are made out of solid good quality wood. I especially loved the frame we found at Target which is a 16x16” frame matted to fit our 12x12” Masked World prints perfectly! TIP: To make your print appear larger, frame it in a larger size with a mat!

8.5x11” Frames

For these frames we found the best deal were the ones that were bundled! So if you have a handful of our 8.5x11 prints, framing them in a uniformed design will help keep your walls looking clean and organized. A unique frame for these prints are the “Magnetic hanging frames” (as seen with Iroh). These are a great budget option, just know that the print will be exposed to the elements since it won’t be behind a protective glass or acrylic. If you decide to go with this frame, we suggest you keep it away from kitchens and bathrooms.
